Who is Camay Von Furstenberg?

I was a child of the Seventies. I wore hideously patterned Brady Bunch pants, rode a Scwhinn bicycle, and watched “Welcome Back Kotter” and “Laverne and Shirley” religiously. I listened to ABBA, the Bee Gees, Donny Osmond, and the Bay City Rollers. I got up early every Saturday morning to watch Scooby Doo, Sigmund and the Sea Monsters, and got a penpal through Big Blue Marble. And if I wanted to change the channel I had get up off the couch. I bought Lip Smackers, Love’s Baby Soft, and Jean Nate, washed my hair with “Gee Your Hair Smells Terrific” and Tame Creme Rinse, and painted my fingernails with Tinkerbell nail polish. As a teenager in the Eighties, I became interested in Punk and New Wave and shunned everything Seventies, but as an adult, I have become increasingly nostalgic for the decade in which I grew up. If you were a child in the Seventies and loved the same things I did, then I hope you enjoy this groovy trip down memory lane.

Hey Camay, ditto to everything you just wrote. Nice to connect with a fellow child of the seventies. Loving your blog, I JUST found it this morning when writing a little post tribute to Donna Summer (may she rest in peace). Keep up the great posts!
